Privacy policy

The short version: the native iPhone app has no account, no ads and no tracking. Your baby's details and mixes stay on your phone. This website uses optional, consent-managed analytics and advertising tracking.
This policy covers the CALMA iPhone app and the app pages at calmamusic.com/app. CALMA is made by CALMA Music. Contact: music@calmamusic.com.
What stays on your phone
Your baby's name and birthday, quiz answers, mixes and settings are stored only on your device. We never see them. To remove them, use Me → Erase this phone's data in the app, or delete the app.
Microphone and camera
This version of CALMA doesn't use your microphone or camera.
Optional tips email (in the app)
If you choose to give your email during setup, we store it with your baby's age group and the sleep goal you picked, so we can send occasional sleep tips. This is optional and you can skip it. To be removed, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us at music@calmamusic.com.
Website sign-up
If you join the optional "Keep me posted" list on this website, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We use it to send occasional bedtime tips and CALMA updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by contacting us at music@calmamusic.com.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check which CALMA plan is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history, not your name or card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Where your data is kept
Website sign-up emails are stored securely in our own database, hosted by Lovable Cloud. Optional in-app tips emails are stored securely with our hosting provider (Cloudflare). We keep them until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
What the native iPhone app does not do
- No advertising or ad tracking.
- No selling or sharing your data.
- No analytics on what you play.
Website analytics and advertising
All website pages, including calmamusic.com/app and its support and legal pages, use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) and Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.) when permitted. They measure page visits, Spotify and Apple Music clicks, App Store clicks, and successful new email sign-ups. App Store clicks are not proof of an app installation. We use these measurements to understand visits and measure and improve advertising.
These providers may receive your IP address, browser and device details, visited page, cookie identifiers and the action taken. We do not send your sign-up email, baby details, quiz answers or mixes to them, and we do not enable customer matching. Ad clicks and impressions count whether or not you accept website tracking.
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, optional tracking starts only after you accept. Unknown regions are treated the same way. Elsewhere it may run by default unless you refuse or send an applicable opt-out such as Global Privacy Control. We store your choice, decision date, notice version, region and prior choices in your browser. Use Cookie settings in the website footer to reject or withdraw at any time; withdrawal stops new reporting. This website tracking is separate from the tracking-free native iPhone app. See also our website privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email music@calmamusic.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO at ico.org.uk).
Children
CALMA is used by parents and carers. It doesn't collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
